It starts with a pencil

Welcome to my latest mailart project. I'll be sending out a series of ATC "jams" - artist trading cards that I have started and asking other artists to complete and send them back to me.

For the uninitiated, ATCs are 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" cards created by artists from around the world. They are enthusiastically traded, but never sold. "Jam" cards are worked on by more than one artist. (something like the artistic equivalent to a musical jam).

All the cards I'm sending out for this project will start in roughly the same way, with a pencil. Where they go from there is out of my control.
